March is my birthday month and this year I'm 48... 💃🏼 I honestly still feel like I'm 28, age is a funny thing. I'm grateful for my yoga practice and that it has evolved with me over the years, from Ashtanga in my 20s to a gentle flow and restorative heading into my 50s.

Since getting back from India I have a renewed energy and am prioritising Sadhana - conscious spiritual practice, (Indians are so inspiring with their devotion to the divine) I truly believe that it can change your life, one mindful practice at a time. Last year was a truly busy year and I felt at complete capacity, but one thing that I've learned from my dear friend and mentor Katie Rose is that we can expand our capacity to take on more in business and life. I find that when I prioritise my spiritual practice my days feel spacious, my weeks and months are more abundant and I'm grounded yet energised.

The below photo was taken in Hardiwar, India on our last pilgrimage, we were honoured to have a Priest perform puja fire ceremony and bless our mala beads. Stay tuned as we will be launching our next India Pilgrimage very soon!

I'm currently listening to this book again (I've read it a few times) but there's something sublime about listening to the author read it to me on my morning walks - it's a firm favourite for inspiring me to think and be more creative - it's the first book for 'Bookclub' in the brand new Shakti Community Membership (an exclusive membership for those who have been through my programs and courses).

Do you get in a creative rut when it comes to creating content or offers for your business? You might have an idea and think.. oh it's been done before?

I do, but then I remember this quote from Elizabeth Gilbert

"We're all related, after all, so there's going to be some repetition of creative instinct. Everything reminds us of something. But once you put your own expression and passion behind an idea, that idea becomes yours."

Here's the tea... yoga and ayurveda are not new, they're thousands of years old, yet there are millions of people in the world making an income from sharing the teachings and wisdom, why? Because they bring their own unique sauce and take action! When you move God moves towards you and BIG magic happens.
