10 Reels and Hook Ideas for Instagram

The juggle of running a business, a home and (I know some of you) a job as well, it's a lot!

Let me free up some mental space for you, I've brainstormed 10 Reel Ideas for you! These will work well for yoga teachers, healers and personal brands, but can be adapted to any business. 

10 REELS ideas that you can make unique by adding your sparkle! ✨

1️⃣✨ Teach something that one you know your audience struggle with. *Longer form Reels that teach your audience in this way will mean they will save it for later and probably come back to it. 

2️⃣✨ How to practice a pranayama; quick and simple is best, do it in the car, at your desk or in the kitchen - film yourself in the thick of everyday, be relatable.

3️⃣✨ Timelapse of you in action, e.g. setting up for a class or working with a client, add an inspiring voice over.

4️⃣✨ A short form video of you teaching or beautiful scenery, with a student/client testimonial text overlay. 

5️⃣✨ Going about your morning routine, making tea, meditating etc..

6️⃣✨ B-Roll footage with text overlay; ways you can practice/work with me or your class times and how to book.

7️⃣✨ Share a recent student/client win; a simple video of incense or candle burning with a screenshot of a DM you received from a student. 

8️⃣✨ BTS footage with a cool trending audio. 

9️⃣✨ Mini Vlog - a day in the life.

Remember to share what is alive in you, what’s lighting you up. Go within for inspiration, don’t look outside or to what others are doing. 

AND

Reels can be raw and real - no need for perfection! Get the message and call to action on point but don’t worry if there’s kids or pets hanging off you or you're not perfectly glammed up, this makes you relatable and authentic.
